What's on Offer? £38,400 annual salary Overtime opportunities Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30 Friday: 07:00 - 12:00 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (rising to 28 days with service) Pension Scheme: 4% Employee / 7% Employer Contribution Company Sick Pay Scheme (up to 8 weeks with service) Life Assurance Scheme - 4x Annual Salary Cycle to Work Scheme Free On-Site Parking Wellbeing Programme and Employee Events Weekly Free Fresh Fruit The Role Working within a skilled team of technicians, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of Boxer military vehicles and associated sub-assemblies. Key duties include: Final assembly of armoured vehicles and sub-assemblies Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical fault finding Vehicle maintenance and repair activities Interpretation of technical drawings and work instructions Diagnosis of hydraulic, pneumatic, and software-related faults Updating work records and documentation using SAP Ordering parts and equipment as required Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping Supporting training and knowledge sharing across the team Working closely with production, engineering, and quality departments About You To be successful in this role you should have: Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, or Electrical Fitter Relevant City & Guilds, NVQ, or Electrical qualification Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (desirable) Experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, or heavy engineering Ability to read and interpret technical documentation Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Understanding of quality, safety, and environmental procedures Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Apply Today This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing defence manufacturer offering job security, career development, and the chance to work on one of the UK's most significant military vehicle programmes
