You will be a core contributor focused on growing our product reach throughout the MEA markets while maintaining low financial crime rates.Your Role:Your primary focus would be backend engineering to develop onboarding, KYC, KYB and FinCrime controls tailored for MEA markets.You will propose and advocate for high-quality technical designs and solutions that are scalable, reliable, and compliant with the diverse regulations across the markets.

Beyond delivering clean code, you will participate in code and design reviews, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to expand our presence across the region.What You'll Be Doing:Design, build and automate FinCrime controls (AML, Fraud etc) and onboarding flowsImplement integrations with local banks, payment providers, identity/business verification vendors across the regionParticipate in code and design reviews within your team, providing constructive feedback to maintain and elevate our engineering standardsCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers and compliance officers in our other global offices, to align on product vision and technical implementation for regional expansionContribute to the technical strategy and roadmap for the MEA domainQualificationsA proactive and ambitious mindset, with a desire to take ownership and make a significant impactAutonomous team player able to work effectively with minimal supervision.Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality, scalable systems and a strong Product mindsetDeep technical expertise in back-end development and microservices architectureExperience in designing and building software systems and collaborating on technical designs within a team or domainStrong ability to provide constructive feedback during code and design reviewsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex challengesExperience leveraging LLMs (e.g.
