Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Integration Lead Engineer to join a premium automotive client. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of customer features and functions into vehicle programmes. You will work within the Central Systems Integration (CSI) team, which is responsible for cross-functional collaboration across all phases of feature, systems, and software delivery.

Responsibilities
As the System Integration Lead Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the timely delivery of vehicle features and removing integration risks and blockers.
Aligning engineering domain delivery plans with programme milestones.
Driving the resolution of cross-functional integration issues.
Collaborating with programme planners and Core Vehicle Engineering teams to align plans.
Identifying and communicating dependencies, risks, and delivery glide paths.
Driving continuous improvement in processes and reporting.
Facilitating the resolution of feature issues and roadblocks to achieve Final Engineering Sign-off.
Ensuring feature design progression aligns with programme requirements and timelines.Qualifications
Essential:
In-depth understanding of the automotive Systems Design Life Cycle, including system definition, architecture development, requirements specification, design reviews, systems integration, system assessment, and acceptance.
Proven experience in technical analysis and the application of best-in-class engineering processes.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across engineering functions.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and utilize technical data for informed decision-making, including risk identification.
Proficiency in Office 365 tools.Desirable:
Experience in engineering product delivery using project management techniques.
Familiarity with programme and project delivery processes, including the use of JIRA toolsets.
Experience in the integration and delivery of electrical, electromechanical, or software systems.Education:
A relevant degree or equivalent experience.Day-to-Day
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of customer features into vehicle programmes.
Monitor and report on the maturity, status, and delivery impact of features across vehicle programmes.
Translate programme requirements into clear, time-based delivery targets.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring readiness for programme gateways and final sign-off.
Consolidate stakeholder inputs to provide a transparent view of feature availability and maturity.
Report key performance indicators (KPIs) and risks to stakeholders.Benefits
