We offer a number of flexible working arrangements that suit those who prefer to work in an Assessment Centre full time or in a hybrid role.
Working hours throughout your training are 9.00am -5.00pm Monday to Friday.Once training has been completed (typically around six months), other working patterns are available.
What youll be doing as a Functional Assessor:
Carrying out functional assessments with claimants face to face, via video & telephone to assess their ability to undertake activities of daily living.
Produce high quality, structured clinical reports on all claimants you assess, for submission to the DWP.
Working alongside other highly experienced clinical colleagues to ensure high-quality & clinically fair assessments for all claimants.

Many clinicians find the role of a Functional Assessor rewarding, but its also challenging at the same time and its not the right fit for everyone.
Is open to a formalised programme of training to become a DWP approved Functional Assessor.
Has confidence in their ability to use computers and in learning different software packages to complete detailed, high-quality reports for all claimants assessed.
You dislike writing detailed reports.
You prefer a more hands on approach to clinical care.
3 days a week.
NMC-registered Adult Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC-registered Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics or GPHC-registered Pharmacists.
With excellent communication & critical-thinking skills, the ability to type and confidence using computers
