GC168:  Class 1 Driver (Artic) Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 per annum, depending on experience Location: Birmingham Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – approximately 16:30 Experience: Container experience (ideal) Overview: Our client, based in Birmingham, is currently looking for an experienced Artic Driver with container experience to join their team on a permanent basis. The role offers regular Monday-to-Friday working hours, with shifts starting at 07:30 and finishing at approximately 16:30. Weekend work is very rare, providing an excellent opportunity for a driver looking for a consistent Monday-to-Friday position. Ideally, but not essential, the successful candidate will have container driving experience. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate an articulated HGV vehicle. Transport containers safely and efficiently to and from customer locations. Complete all required vehicle and delivery documentation. Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects. Ensure all loads are secured and transported in accordance with relevant legislation. Maintain high standards of professionalism when dealing with customers and other road users. Comply with all relevant road transport, health and safety regulations. Essential Requirements: Full Class 1 (Category C+E) licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Valid Digital Tachograph card. Must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes. What's on Offer: £40,000 – £42,000 salary, depending on experience. Monday to Friday working pattern. 07:30 start with an approximate 16:30 finish.
