Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - South East & South West London - September Start - Full Time We are currently recruiting for experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join supportive schools across South East and South West London for September starts. This is a fantastic opportunity for strong HLTAs who are ready to take on additional classroom responsibility, lead interventions, cover lessons, and support pupils across the school. We are working with a range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across areas including Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, Bromley. The Role: Working as an HLTA across a school setting Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher Leading small group interventions and booster sessions Supporting pupils across a range of abilities and learning needs Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom resources, and learning activities Supporting pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs Helping manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and senior leadersThe Ideal Candidate Will: Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or have strong HLTA experience Be confident covering lessons and leading groups Have previous school-based experience Have strong behaviour management skills Be organised, proactive, and reliable Be confident supporting pupils across different year groups Have excellent communication and teamwork skills Be passionate about supporting children's learning and developmentThe Role Offers: Full-time long-term opportunities September starts Roles across South East and West London Supportive school environments Competitive daily rates depending on experience Opportunity for permanent placement Excellent experience for aspiring teachers and education professionalsIf you are an experienced HLTA looking for a new role across South East or South West London, please apply with your updated CV today.
