Field Service Engineer - Heavy Plant Location: UK Wide / International Travel Head Office: Leicester Salary: Dependent on Experience - High OTE with base and overtime Hours: Monday to Friday (Flexibility Required) UK & Overseas Travel Required About the Company A well-established UK manufacturer of heavy plant machinery supplying equipment to the construction, quarrying, recycling, and materials handling industries worldwide. The company designs, installs, commissions, and services heavy-duty machinery and complete plant solutions for customers across the UK and overseas. The Role An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing installation and commissioning team. This is a field-based role involving the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of heavy plant machinery at customer sites throughout the UK and internationally. Key Responsibilities Installation and commissioning of heavy plant machinery Service, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment Fault finding and troubleshooting on customer sites Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Supporting testing and commissioning activities Completing service reports and handover documentation Working closely with site teams and customers Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficientlyAbout You Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, or similar Background within heavy plant, quarrying, recycling, construction, or industrial machinery Strong mechanical fitting and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently on customer sites Good communication and problem-solving abilities Full UK Driving Licence Willingness to travel across the UK and overseasDesirable Experience Crushers, conveyors, screeners, or material handling equipment Hydraulics and pneumatics Site installation and commissioning Welding or fabrication experience CSCS, IPAF, or similar certificationsHow to Apply To apply for the Field Service Engineer - Heavy Plant position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
