JOB – CAD Technician

LOCATION – Leeds

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £28,000 to £35,000 per annum (plus benefits)

My client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke furniture . They are looking to take on a CAD Technician to join their team in Leeds .

The CAD Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

• Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) in furniture or joinery design

• Ability to produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models

• Knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials

• Strong attention to detail and design accuracy

• Good communication skills for working with clients, production, and design teams

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Experience with bespoke projects is desirable

The CAD Technician role will involve:

• Producing 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for bespoke furniture

• Working closely with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability

• Preparing technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs

• Assisting with client revisions and project adjustments

• Supporting production with accurate design documentation

• Maintaining CAD files and design records
