We are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established medical building services business operating across Shropshire and surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for electrical maintenance and compliance work across a range of sites, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.
Key duties include: Electrical maintenance and testing Fire safety and compliance checks Emergency lighting testing and repairs Completion and management of compliance testing and logbooks Working independently from daily work instructions provided via iPad Communicating clearly with the wider team where needed This role is largely maintenance and compliance-based rather than installation work.
Qualified Electrical Engineer Relevant electrical qualifications essential QS / NICEIC / ECA registration (or working towards) Experience in compliance, testing, or maintenance preferred Strong attention to detail and professionalism Comfortable working independently in a high-trust environment Ideally based in or around Shropshire (local travel required) Package & Benefits Salary typically in the £30,000£40,000 range (flexible for the right person) 20 days holiday, rising xwzovoh to 25 days, plus bank holidays Your birthday off every year Enhanced pension scheme (above standard) Fully expensed company van Long-term job security with stable, ongoing contracts Supportive, approachable leadership Working Environment No clocking in or out No vehicle trackers Fully expensed company van (favourable tax treatment) Opportunity to work from home when appropriate and attend sites directly Office visits as required for tools, documentation, or equipment Strong emphasis on trust, autonomy, and accountability
