Production Manager

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Fusion Resources is recruiting for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager on behalf of our client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily production operations, ensuring that production targets are consistently achieved efficiently, on time, cost-effectively and in compliance with quality, safety and company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Plan, organise and supervise daily production activities to ensure smooth operations.

* Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved within set timelines.

* Monitor production performance, output, efficiency and machine downtime.

* Minimise material wastage and control production costs.

* Ensure all products meet established quality standards and specifications.

* Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health and safety regulations, and company policies.

* Coordinate effectively with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse and Planning departments.

* Identify production challenges, investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.

* Prepare and submit accurate daily and monthly production reports.

* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency and operational performance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

* Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Management or a related field.

* Proven experience in FMCG manufacturing.

* Demonstrated experience managing production teams and manufacturing processes.

* Good understanding of production planning, quality assurance and cost control.

* Knowledge of GMP, 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
