Our client is a successful private and independent construction contractor operating within London and the South East. They are a business committed to providing a first class, professional service to their clients. They are currently seeking to recruit a Materials Buyer seeking advancement to join their centralised buying function. Role and responsibilities • Material plant and waste management • Operating Markets– Social Housing, Education, Health, Leisure, Commercial, Fitout, Special Works • Contracts from £2k to £10m • Group direct and indirect spend on material plant etc. • Managing the purchasing on individual mixed scale contracts r • Production and maintenance of cost/value reports Potential candidates require a solid construction contracting purchasing background.
