Foreman - S278 Highways Works Location: Gloucester Rate: £350 Outside IR35 Duration: 12 months   The Role:   Are you an experienced foreman looking for a long term contract outside IR35?   I am looking for a foreman to oversee some S278 highways works.   This is a straightforward, well-defined scheme with a groundworks subcontractor delivering the works on site with a couple of gangs. Your role will be predominantly supervisory - managing the subcontractor day to day, keeping the works safe, compliant and on programme, and acting as the eyes and ears on site for the wider project team.   Key Responsibilities:   ·Day-to-day supervision of the groundworks subcontractor and their gangs ·Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with the programme and specification ·Overseeing streetworks compliance, traffic management and permit conditions ·Maintaining site records, daily diaries and progress reporting ·Liaising with the site team, subcontractor supervisors and client representatives ·Promoting a strong health and safety culture on site   Requirements:   ·SMSTS (essential) ·Streetworks Supervisor (NRSWA) (essential) ·Experience supervising S278 / highways / groundworks packages ·Confident managing subcontractors and holding them to standard ·Based within commutable distance of Gloucester   For more information please click APPLY NOW or call Ty Darbyshire on (phone number removed)
