Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Immediate Starts Available The Best Connection Newcastle is recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers on behalf of a prestigious manufacturing client. This is an excellent Counterbalance Forklift Driver opportunity offering a genuine temp-to-perm position for the right candidate with a well-established company that values reliability, commitment, and teamwork. Immediate Starts Available for successful applicants. The Role As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will work across two local manufacturing sites in a varied, fast-paced role that combines FLT operation with warehouse and production support. This is not a role where you'll spend your entire shift in the cab you'll be actively involved in keeping operations running efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: Line feeding to keep production running smoothly. Loading and unloading trailers using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck. Transporting stock safely between two local sites. Working both indoors and outdoors, so you must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as required. Hours & Pay £14.57 per hour for all hours worked. 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday rotating three-shift pattern: Early: 07:00 - 15:00 Back Shift: 15:00 - 23:00 Night Shift: 23:00 - 07:00 Requirements Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence. Full UK Driving Licence (essential due to travel between two local sites). Previous experience in a similar manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment is essential. Comfortable working outdoors when required. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a busy team. What We Offer Immediate Starts Available. Competitive pay of £14.57 per hour.
