Employee Relations Advisor

Passionate about Employee Relations? Looking for a role where you can make an impact from day one? We're partnering with a fantastic organisation to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their friendly, collaborative HR team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an established team, supporting managers across a wide range of employee relations matters while playing an important role in delivering a responsive and effective HR service. The Role This is a great opportunity to join a busy and supportive Employee Relations team, where you'll work closely with managers to provide practical advice and guidance across a variety of employee relations matters. You'll play an important role in managing cases effectively and ensuring managers receive a professional, responsive HR service. Your responsibilities will include: Providing advice and guidance to managers across a range of employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and suspension cases.
Managing a varied caseload, ensuring cases are progressed effectively and records are accurately maintained.
Supporting managers through formal processes, including preparing meeting documentation, arranging meetings and capturing key information where required.
Liaising with Occupational Health providers and supporting the management of related reports.
Assisting with Employment Tribunal administration, including preparing and uploading documentation when required.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider HR function to deliver a consistent and high-quality advisory service.
About You We're looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a genuine passion for supporting managers through employee relations challenges. You'll ideally have: Previous experience in an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or similar HR advisory role.
Experience managing a busy and high volume caseload, including absence, disciplinary and grievance matters - essential
Confidence providing advice and guidance to managers, particularly over the telephone.
Experience working within a high-volume HR advisory, shared services or employee relations environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
A good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable style.
What's on Offer? Salary of £33,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
