Hse Advisor

Main job: Provide HSE advice + oversight on electrical commissioning for projects (new builds, upgrades, maintenance) in the UK, ensuring compliance with regs like EAWR and BS 7671. Key Responsibilities 1. HSE guidance: Advise on electrical safety risks + compliance 2. Commissioning support: Review electrical commissioning plans, witness tests 3. Regs compliance: Ensure adherence to EAWR, BS 7671, CDM 2015 4. Training: Deliver electrical safety/toolbox talks to teams 5. Incident response: Investigate electrical incidents, report RIF 6. Coordination: Liaise with project managers, electricians, and HSE inspectors Requirements – UK 2026 - Quals: HNC/D in Electrical Engineering or HSE. NEBOSH cert a plus - Experience: 3-5 years HSE/construction experience + electrical commissioning - Skills: Electrical regs, risk assessments, report writing - Certs: Electrical AP training, CSCS card
