Role: Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias Location: Middlesbrough Working Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)   About the Role Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting a leading steel manufacturer in the search for a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join their Engineering Team This is a key role within a high-performing department where you'll support the delivery of essential maintenance activities across a highly automated and heavy industrial facility.    Key Responsibilities Deliver proactive and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical systems Support production through timely response to equipment faults and breakdowns Contribute to inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance strategies Operate in line with site safety protocols and statutory compliance requirements Collaborate with Day Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure maintenance excellence Maintain accurate records using modern computerised maintenance systems (e.g. SAP) Lead a team of 6  technicians What We're Looking For A recognised apprenticeship and qualifications in Electrical Engineering Minimum HNC Qualified Proven experience in a heavy industrial setting, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment A strong understanding of fault finding, breakdown recovery and preventative maintenance Excellent communication skills, a team mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement Flexibility to work shifts and respond to the changing needs of the operation *Certificate evidence will be required at interview.   What's in It for You?
