Job Description I Need Staff Today Limited, a recruitment agency based in Codsall, is recruiting on behalf of our client in Telford for experienced Quality Inspectors to join their manufacturing team.
We are looking for detail-oriented and reliable individuals with previous experience in the sheet metal industry and a good understanding of manufacturing quality standards.
The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting components and finished products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Carrying out quality inspections of sheet metal components and finished products.

Checking products against technical drawings and specifications.

Identifying defects, discrepancies and non-conforming products.

Using appropriate measuring and inspection equipment.

Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate quality documentation.

Reporting quality issues to the relevant departments.

Working closely with production teams to resolve quality-related problems.

Ensuring products meet customer requirements and company quality standards.

Supporting continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing process.

Requirements Previous experience in the sheet metal industry is essential.

Previous experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

Good understanding of manufacturing quality standards.

Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary & Working Hours £30,000 – £34,000 per annum
