Social Housing Painter & Decorator

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and construction painting and decorating, possess strong communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality workmanship on various projects. A valid driving licence is essential as the role may require travel to different job sites. *Responsibilities* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. * Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. * Measure and cut materials as needed for various decorating tasks. * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. * Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and timelines. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly. * Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while on-site. *Requirements* * Proven experience in construction painting or a similar role. * Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. * A valid driving licence is required for travel to various job sites. * Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
