We are seeking experienced Principal Mechanical Engineers to lead on a series of high-profile projects across multiple international locations, which include:
Data centres and mission critical facilities
Infrastructure projects
Large-scale industrial facilities
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent.
Experience in the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects, or large-scale industrial facilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA/BSRIA design stages and construction processes.
Experience in leading and managing the production and delivery of all aspects of mechanical design as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
Experience in sustainable design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low-carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.
Thorough understanding of mechanical technical design for all RIBA stages. Including carrying out calculations, strategy development, project coordination, controls and commissioning, H&S and risk management and technical design delivery.
Experience in training and mentoring engineers.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in mechanical calculation software.
Experience in project financial management, administration and fee bids.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the use of BIM software, such as Revit, Navisworks.
Experience in Design & Build (D&B) projects, collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient project delivery
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to liaise with senior management on any project‑related issues.
Strong analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and creativity in developing efficient engineering strategies and solutions
Solution-based approach to solving complex engineering problems.
