Sen Teaching Assistant

Role Overview We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a school setting within the Redbridge area. This role involves working closely with teaching staff to support students’ learning, development, and well-being. Key Responsibilities * Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN. * Support students with learning, emotional, and behavioural needs. * Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities. * Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and positive behaviour. * Support with personal care where required. * Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. * Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff. Requirements * Previous experience working with SEN children (essential). * School-based experience (desirable). * Valid Enhanced DBS (required). * Ability to commit to Monday–Friday during school hours. * Patient, reliable, and proactive approach.
