Job ID: 7541Salary: 75,000 - 85,000 plus packageLocation: LondonRegion: LondonHighly regarded building contractor who have been established for over 25 years urgently require a Managing QS / Commercial Manager to join their busy team.The contractor concerned build a number of apartment blocks in London and the South East on behalf of Housing Associations and Residential Providers.This is a hands on management role and the successful candidate will be running jobs in addition to managing the team of quantity surveyors and assistants.The ideal candidate will need to have worked for a building contractor in their career so they will be more than familiar with the constraints of costs and tight margins that building contractors work to but will need to be polished enough to deal with sub-contractors, clients and reporting in at board level. You will also have experience of building residential apartment blocks.You can expect to be in a safe stable role with this contractor as they have won a number of bids and are continually bidding for more work, a great time to join a thriving contractor that will be growing in size over the the next 12 months.
