At The Caledonian Edinburgh, exceptional dining is an essential part of the guest experience. We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to support our kitchen brigade in delivering refined, high-quality cuisine within one of the citys most iconic hotels.
The Person:
Passionate about quality, consistency and culinary excellence
Strong team player with the confidence to lead with a kitchen section
Highly organise with excellent attention to detail
Calm and reliable under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Committed to food safety, cleanliness and professional standards.
The Role:
Take ownership of a designated kitchen section
Deliver consistently high-quality, well-presented dishes
Support efficient kitchen operations and minimise food waste
Uphold all food safety, hygiene and brand standards
Contribute positively to the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present dishes in line with recipes and specifications
Manage mise en place, portion control and quality at all times
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation
Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team
Support smooth service delivery during busy periods.
