About the role
Role Overview:
- Role: Head of Implementation - SaaS EdTech
- Salary: £70,000-£80,000 per annum
- Location: Remote-first (offices in London - Candidates must be based in England)
- Interviews - w/c 1st June
The Opportunity:
Our client, a growing SaaS EdTech, are looking for an experienced Head of Implementation to lead a major transformation of its onboarding and implementation function.
This is not a traditional delivery management role. The business is undergoing an ambitious operational transformation, and this position sits at the heart of it. The successful candidate will be tasked with redesigning the implementation function from the ground up with the goal of creating a faster, more scalable, lower-effort onboarding experience for both customers and internal teams.
This role is ideal for someone who has successfully transformed an implementation or onboarding function before and wants the autonomy to do it again in a business where the impact will be highly visible.
Rather than managing a personal portfolio of projects, your focus will be on driving operational excellence, improving scalability, embedding automation, and building a high-performing team capable of delivering consistently exceptional customer experiences.
You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Customer Success, Sales, and Support teams to reshape how implementations are delivered and continuously improve the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transformation & Operational Improvement
- Team Leadership
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
What We're Looking For:
Essential Experience
- Proven experience within a similar position in a SaaS environment
- A strong track record of leading successful implementation, onboarding, or operational transformation programmes
- Experience leading and developing teams through significant change
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior customer contacts
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of how onboarding impacts customer retention and revenue
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels
- Experience working with implementation and project management tools
Desirable
- Experience within regulated or compliance-led sectors
- Familiarity with Planhat
If you've successfully transformed an implementation function before and are looking for a role where you can make a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
