Petrus by Gordon Ramsay is an elegant fine dining restaurant which has retained a Michelin star since 2011. Serving modern French cuisine, the restaurant benefits from a magnificent state of the art cylindrical wine vault constructed from glass in the middle of the restaurant, creating a fantastic ambience for both our guests and the team.
The General Manager must have:
A passion for hospitality, food, wine and exceptional guest service
The motivation and leadership skills to represent the Gordon Ramsay Brand and its world class hospitality standards
A keen eye for detail to ensure delivery of standards at the highest level
A proven track record of recruiting, developing, motivating and retaining a high performing team
Good commercial acumen with previous P&L responsibility
A strong personality, with confidence and enthusiasm to lead the team in the day to day running of the restaurant
Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written – to ensure clear communication with all stakeholders
Ability to multi task and effectively manage relationships at all levels
We are ideally looking for candidates who:
Previous experience as a General Manager within a Michelin Star restaurant, either independent or part of a 5 star hotel and comprehensive knowledge of hospitality & restaurant operations
Are passionate about delivering the highest levels of service to our guests in an engaging and informative way
Are responsible for the overall planning, business development and success of the restaurant alongside the Executive Head Chef
Ensuring service standards throughout the entire guest journey exceed expectations
Effectively coordinate, control and manage all resources and commercials to deliver all targets of the P&L
