About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Upholstery Sewing Machinist to join a well-established and busy furniture manufacturing company based in Ilkeston.

Key Responsibilities
Sewing upholstery covers for sofas, chairs, and cushions
Working with a range of materials including fabric and leather
Producing piping, finishing edges, and inserting zips
Assembling and preparing covers to specification
Following patterns, templates, and job sheets
Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are met

Requirements
Previous experience in upholstery sewing is preferred
Confident using industrial sewing machines
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
