Press Brake Operator

Our engineering clients based close to Havant have an exciting opportunity for a Press Brake Operator to join their growing team.

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be a key player in our production team, responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brakes to produce high-quality sheet metal components. Your expertise will ensure our production targets are met efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Set up and operate all CNC press brakes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans and engineering drawings.
• Ensure production processes are cost-effective and report any time overruns.
• Promote and maintain our quality standards in collaboration with the Quality Manager.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Assist in developing ideas to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Support training requirements and mentor team members.
• Provide feedback to management to enhance processes and quality control. xwzovoh

Required skills

• Experience using Press Brake Machines or similar
• Experience and understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
• Experience with CAD software not essential

Working hours

4 day working week! Monday Thursday 7am 5pm
