TA Visiting Officer

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Slough Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a TA Visiting Officer this role will be based at: SL1 2EJ,
2 days visits, 1 day in office and 2 days WFH

The right candidate will:

* Conduct regular visits to temporary accommodation, including bed and breakfast and nightly paid accommodation.

* Complete suitability assessments in line with legislation and council policy.

* Engage sensitively with households in temporary accommodation.

* Verify occupancy and household composition during visits.

* Maintain accurate records and reports.

We require the following:

* Experience working in housing, homelessness, or a related field.

* Experience visiting properties and service users.

* Experience dealing with vulnerable people.
