Dimensional Quality Inspector

Dimensional Quality Inspector Engineering / Manufacturing | Full-Time | Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Dimensional Quality Inspector to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional with a strong engineering background, a keen eye for detail and the ability to accurately inspect and measure components to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.

The Role
Carry out dimensional inspections of components and manufactured products.

Ensure products meet engineering drawings, tolerances and quality requirements.

Use a variety of measuring and inspection equipment to verify dimensions.

Identify, report and document any quality issues or non-conformances.

Support quality assurance processes throughout the manufacturing operation.

Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high-quality standards.

Essential Requirements
Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Experience carrying out dimensional inspection and quality checks.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand tolerances.

Competent in using a variety of measuring tools, such as micrometers, verniers, gauges and other inspection equipment.

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

Desirable Skills
Experience or qualifications in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing).

Knowledge or practical experience of Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI).

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) experience.

Any additional NDT qualifications or inspection experience would be advantageous.

Working Hours & Benefits
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm

Friday: 6:00am – 1:00pm

Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holidays

Full-time, permanent position
