Electrical Testing Engineer (Commercial) – 2391 Required 📍 Location: Portsmouth & surrounding areas 💼 Job Type: Full-time / Contract 💷 Rate: £25 – £30 per hour (depending on experience) About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to carry out inspection and testing across a range of commercial properties in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. This role offers consistent work and competitive hourly rates for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities * Carry out EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) on commercial sites * Conduct inspection, testing, and fault finding * Ensure compliance with BS 7671 regulations * Accurately complete reports and certification * Identify and report defects, recommending remedial actions * Maintain high standards of health & safety on site Essential Requirements * City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) – essential * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Proven experience on commercial properties * Full UK Driving Licence * Ability to work independently and manage workload Desirable * IPAF / PASMA * Experience with large-scale testing contracts * Familiar with handheld/digital reporting systems What We Offer * £25–£30 per hour * Ongoing work in the Portsmouth area * Opportunity to work with a growing and reputable company * Immediate start available
