AsaMaintenanceOperative,youwillberesponsibleforcarryingoutroutinemaintenanceworksandreactiverepairsacrossarangeofresidential,commercial,andindustrialproperties.Yourdutieswillincludeundertakingtaperingandjointingandwidercarpentry,minorplumbing,electrical,carpentry,andHVACrepairs,aswellasinspectingandmaintainingbuildingsystemsandequipmenttoensuretheyremainsafe,compliant,andfullyoperational.Youwillrespondtomaintenancerequestsinatimelyandefficientmanner,install,repair,andreplacefixturesandapplianceswhererequired,andensurethatallworkingareasarekeptclean,safe,andwellorganised.

Therolewillrequireclearcommunicationwithpropertymanagers,colleagues,andtenantsasnecessary,alongsideeffectivecoordinationwithotherteammemberstoensureworkiscompletedsmoothlyandefficiently.Accuraterecordkeepingwillalsoformpartoftheposition,withresponsibilityformaintainingclearlogsofmaintenanceandrepairactivitiesundertaken.

Applicantsshouldhaveprovenexperienceinamaintenance,handyman,orsimilarroleandpossessastrongworkingknowledgeofgeneralrepairandmaintenancetasks.Abasicunderstandingofplumbing,electrical,carpentry,andHVACsystemsisessential,alongwiththeabilitytousehandandpowertoolssafelyandeffectively.Youwillbeexpectedtodemonstratestrongproblem-solvingskills,goodattentiontodetail,andtheabilitytoworkbothindependentlyandaspartofawiderteam.
