Electrical Estimator

Position: Electrical Estimator Intermediate Location: Wolverhampton Office Employment Type: Full Time Our client is a thriving M&E Contractor with offices in the Midlands area. They are looking for 2 Electrical Estimators to join their dynamic Pre-Contract estimating team based in Wolverhampton; one assistant level, one intermediate. These roles present an exciting opportunity to contribute to their continued growth and success. The role responsibilities: * Prepare detailed tender bids and cost plans * Attend mid and post tender meetings * Exercise post tender control * Interface with both existing and prospective clients * Communicate and collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers, nurturing existing relationships and developing new leads Candidate attributes and skills: * Work experience in the electrical building services field * Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of Electrical services, with ideally some familiarity with mechanical engineering services * Efficient in tender management preparation and submittal * Extensive supplier and subcontractor network * Excellent commercial acumen to ensure financial viability of tenders * Deadline adherence * Competence in "Trimble Estimation" software and electronic tender document control systems is advantageous * Strong interpersonal skills to ensure efficient teamwork and maintenance of positive relationships * Working to quality standards in line with company policies The company offer: * Car allowance * Competitive salary * Competitive holiday allowance * Opportunities for career advancement * Ongoing technical and personal development opportunities
