Operations Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate day-to-day business operations across assembly, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, and customer order fulfilment.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high service standards, and supporting business growth within a fast-paced environment.

• Manage daily operations across assembly, warehouse, logistics, and dispatch functions
• Coordinate inventory control, purchasing activities, and supply chain processes
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Lead, support, and motivate operational teams to maintain productivity and efficiency
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and operational compliance
• Work closely with sales, purchasing, customer service, and senior leadership teams
• Support workflow planning and resource allocation to meet business demands
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction

• Previous experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience within warehouse, logistics, assembly, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities within a fast-paced environment
• Experience using ERP, MRP, or stock management systems would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of operational processes and continuous improvement practices

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on manager with a strong operational background and the ability to lead teams effectively. You will be highly organised, commercially aware, and capable of driving operational performance while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
