Quality Inspector Wanted - Immediate Start! Leicester | £15-£18/hour (DOE) Permanent, Full-Time Are you an experienced Quality Inspector? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a market leading sheet metal company based in Leicester. What's on Offer: Overtime available Company pension Training and development opportunities Friendly working environment Early finish on Fridays Qualifications Essential: Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing or sheet metal Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, callipers, and micrometres Strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Reliable and organised approach to work Desirable: Knowledge of ISO quality standards Welding inspection experience Experience completing quality documentation and inspection reports Forklift licence Basic computer skills for reporting and record keeping Roles & Responsibilities Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of sheet metal components and assemblies. Inspect products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards. Use inspection equipment including verniers, callipers, micrometres, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools. Identify, record, and report defects, non-conformances, or quality issues. Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation. Work closely with production, fabrication, and welding teams to resolve quality concerns. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality and manufacturing processes. Ensure all inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained correctly. Requirements As a Quality Inspector, you will also be expected to: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures. Assist with internal audits and quality system compliance where required.
