SANZA Teaching Agency are working exclusively with a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Barnet who are seeking a confident Year 2 Teacher to join their team for the full academic year from September 2026 to July 2027.

The school are seeking a Year 2 Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' development across Key Stage 1 and create a positive classroom environment.
Responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
* Supporting pupils' academic and social development
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing targeted support where needed
* Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
* Working collaboratively with the KS1 team
* Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
* Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within a primary classroom setting
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
* Confidence in behaviour management
* A positive and proactive attitude
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Strong communication and organisational skills
