Were looking for a talented Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in leading a busy, fresh-food Gastro Pub kitchen. Youll help drive standards, develop the team, and deliver consistently high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, professional environment.
The Role As Sous Chef, youll be the Head Chefs right hand, managing daily operations, mentoring junior chefs, and ensuring every plate meets spec. Youll play a key role in menu development, food safety, and cost control, while keeping service smooth and the kitchen motivated.
What Youll Be Doing Leading by example and supporting the Head Chef day-to-day
Running efficient, organised services with a focus on quality and consistency
Training and developing the kitchen team
Managing stock, ordering, and waste control
Maintaining top-tier food hygiene and safety standards
Collaborating with FOH to deliver great guest experiences
What Were Looking For 2+ years experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh-food, high-volume kitchen
Strong leadership and communication xwzovoh skills
Excellent food knowledge and creativity
Confident with cost control and kitchen management systems
Calm, organised, and passionate about great food and teamwork
