They operate mainly in South East of England, predominantly London based.About the Role: The client is seeking to take on a degree qualified, highly driven and determined Quantity Surveyors of all levels with knowledge and experience working within large specialist Demolition, piling and Groundworks, Ground engineering, RC frame packages. Our client wants someone who can manage packages from 1m too 10m, from front end through to final accounts with minimal hassle, liase accordingly in a professional manner to clients that have been with them for over 20years, as well as on site with operational staff.About the Duties:Financial cost control of current contractsFinancial reporting of current contractsImproving financial return of current contractsDelegation and mentoring junior staffCost Control of building contractsCost advise to Contracts ManagersPurchasing and negotiating Sub Contract ordersPaying and monitoring Subcontractor progressCost reporting and forecasting out turn costsClient Liaison and Value forecasting for Client TeamMaximise monthly cash flowsMaximising contract ValueMaximising profitMonitoring progress of purchasing of Sub Contract ordersManaging small teamsMentoring and training small teamsMonitoring progress of subordinatesSetting standards and targeting subordinatesPromote Company ValuesIdentify Risks/opportunitiesIdentify prioritiesAbout the requirements:Ideally degree qualified10+ years experience within Demolition, Cut & Carve and/or groundworks & RC Frame packagesProven track record of managing teams / business unit
