OverviewWe are seeking an Senior Associate to join Mays Brown, a highly regarded specialist shipping law firm with over 30 years' experience advising clients across the maritime sector.How you'll make an impactManaging a varied caseload of dry shipping disputesAdvising clients on contractual, charterparty, cargo and payment disputesDrafting legal documents, correspondence and adviceHandling negotiations and dispute resolution mattersBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsAttending client meetings, industry events and networking opportunitiesContributing to business development initiatives and market engagementWorking collaboratively with colleagues across the wider businessAbout YouQualified SolicitorProven experience in shipping lawExperience gained within a recognised shipping law firm and/or P&I ClubStrong technical drafting and analytical skillsExcellent communication and client relationship management skillsCommercially minded with a genuine interest in the shipping industryEligible to work in the UK
