The role

We are seeking a Managing Director to lead our team of Global Client Leaders. The role is based at our global Headquarters here in London. The team is a key component of our Multinational Client Practice (MCP) which is dedicated to placing and servicing clients with a turnover of £500m+, have multinational locations or complex risks.


The team are responsible for:

  1. Ensuring clients receive incredible service and placement across all aspects of risk transfer, risk financing and risk management from the Howden team around the world.
  2. Working with prospects to further expand our impact and success.


This role combines client ownership, and team development, with a clear mandate to deepen client relationships, scale revenue and enhance Howden’s reputation as a leading broker for complex risk.


The team are agnostic regarding revenue and so are truly empowered to provide phenomenal solutions to clients.

  • Expand Howden’s appointments with FTSE 350 and equivalent enterprises
  • Ensure strong governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence
