In this role, you will carry out ground investigations across various UK sites, overseeing drilling works, logging soil and rock samples, coordinating site activities and preparing technical reports. This is a site-based role involving regular UK travel and multiple nights staying away from home.

This role would suit a Geotechnical Engineer, Engineering Geologist or Ground Investigation Engineer with UK site experience, looking to develop their technical skills, take on more responsibility and progress towards a supervisory role within an established company.

The Role:

Carry out and supervise ground investigations across UK sites
Oversee boreholes, drilling operations and trial pits
Complete soil and rock logging, sampling and laboratory scheduling
Prepare technical reports and liaise with clients and contractorsThe Person:

Previous UK ground investigation site experience
Degree in Geology, Earth Science, Civil Engineering or similar
Experience logging soil and rock to BS 5930 standards
