Are you an experienced warehouse professional looking to take the next step in your career?
At evo , we're looking for a proactive and motivated Relief Team Leader to join our busy distribution operation in Normanton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience and leadership potential who enjoys leading by example, driving performance, and supporting a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
As a Relief Team Leader, you'll work closely with Team Leaders and Shift Management to ensure the safe and efficient running of warehouse operations while supporting the development of colleagues and delivering exceptional service.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting Team Leaders in the day-to-day management of warehouse operations.
Leading by example and promoting a positive, high-performance culture.
Coaching and developing colleagues to achieve operational targets.
Monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Promoting a strong health and safety culture across your area.
Assisting with training plans, performance management, and operational reporting.
Supporting stock management processes and WMS compliance.
Deputising for Team Leaders and other leadership colleagues when required.
Playing a hands-on role in ensuring operational success. [
What We're Looking For
Essential
? Previous experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
? Experience leading, coaching or supervising a team
? Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
? Strong communication and organisational skills
? Excellent attention to detail
? Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
? A positive, resilient and flexible approach
? Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
? A hands-on leadership style with a "can-do" attitude
Desirable
Experience using Manhattan WMS or similar systems
Cross-functional warehouse knowledge and training experience
Previous experience in a fast-paced logistics operation
