Temporary Payroll Officer

An exciting ongoing temporary opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established organisation within the Education Sector. Working as part of a busy and professional environment, you will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with all payroll legislation and pension scheme requirements.This position requires an experienced payroll professional with a strong understanding of complex payroll environments, including the administration of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS).Immediate start available. Key Requirements

• Proven end-to-end payroll processing experience.

• A strong understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments and payroll deductions.

• Hands-on experience administering both the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS).

• Experience preparing pension returns and liaising with pension providers.

• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory compliance requirements.

• The ability to work independently whilst managing strict payroll deadlines.
