Class 2 Hiab Driver

Driver Hire Uxbridge are now recruiting for HGV Cat C (Class 2) HIAB Drivers on behalf of our client, one of the UK's fastest growing builder’s merchants based in Hayes £20.50 to £24.50 per hour (PAYE, including holiday pay) Rates vary depending on experience, and overtime Monday to Friday 05:30am starts daily Duties of a HIAB Driver: * You will carry out multidrop deliveries to commercial customers and building sites * Complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time * Secure loads correctly using appropriate methods (e.g. strapping) * Communicate professionally with customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues * Carry out routine vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, fluid levels, etc.) * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage * Comply with all road safety and driving regulations * Adhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times. Requirements: * Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence held for at least 2 years (maximum 6 penalty points; no DR, DD, TT, IN, or MS90 endorsements) * Valid HIAB certification * Valid CPC and digital tachograph card * Minimum age of 25 (insurance requirements) * At least 1 year of Class 2 HIAB driving experience (references required) * Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved) * Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) * Good understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards If you’re a reliable and motivated driver with a commitment to excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
