Technical Supervisor Location: Birmingham & Surrounding Areas Salary: £46,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time | Permanent We're recruiting for an experienced Technical Supervisor to join a leading Facilities Management provider in the Birmingham area. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to step into a supervisory position, or an experienced supervisor wanting to take the next step with a well-established FM business. The Role As a Technical Supervisor, you'll provide technical support across the contract, dealing with day-to-day escalations and ensuring maintenance issues are resolved efficiently. You'll be responsible for: * Managing technical escalations and providing solutions * Managing and supervising subcontractors * Obtaining and reviewing contractor quotes * Ensuring PPM and reactive works are completed to a high standard * Supporting engineers with technical issues * Managing compliance and contractor performance * Liaising with clients and internal management * Assisting with technical projects and remedial works What We're Looking For * Strong technical engineering background — essential * Previous experience as a Technical Supervisor, Engineering Supervisor, Lead Engineer or Senior Engineer * Facilities Management / Building Services experience * Confident dealing with clients, contractors and engineers * Strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and compliance * Good commercial awareness, particularly around quotes and contractor costs * Excellent communication and organisational skills Benefits * £46,000 salary * Permanent position * Birmingham-based opportunity * Career progression * Technical and commercial responsibility * Supportive management team If you're an experienced engineer ready to move into a Technical Supervisor role, or already working at supervisory level and looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
