Banking Lawyer (Hiring across all Levels)

We are working with a top-tier law firm who are looking for a Lawyer to join their Banking team in Belfast. The firm is hiring from NQ to Director Level.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an established Banking team, acting primarily for lenders on a wide range of financing transactions, including general corporate lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and renewables finance.

The solicitor will work on matters ranging from bilateral loans to large cross-border syndicated transactions, supporting a diverse client base that includes UK clearing banks, challenger banks, investment funds, and corporate borrowers. They will manage their own transactions, support larger deals as part of wider teams, and apply strong project management skills to deliver effective outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

• Hiring at all PQE levels;
• Strong banking/finance law experience;
• Willingness to mentor and supervise junior members of the firm;
• Strong commercial awareness;
• Experience in business development;
• Strong communication skills;
• Team player;
• Technically excellent.
