Junior Quality Checker - Food Production

Junior Quality Checker Croydon £30,000 per annum Permanent | Full-Time Sunday – Thursday | Night Shift Our client, a well-established food manufacturer based in Croydon, is looking to recruit a Junior Quality Checker to join their growing Quality team on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working within a food production or food manufacturing environment who is looking to develop a long-term career in Quality Assurance. The Role Working closely with the Production and Quality teams, you'll be responsible for ensuring products meet company quality standards, food safety requirements and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities * Carry out routine quality checks throughout the production process. * Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards. * Complete quality documentation accurately and generate daily quality reports. * Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformances. * Support investigations into quality concerns and corrective actions. * Monitor hygiene and food safety standards throughout production. * Work closely with production staff to maintain consistent quality. * Ensure all records are completed accurately and in line with company procedures. Candidate Requirements * Previous experience within a food production, food manufacturing or FMCG environment is essential. * A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Comfortable using computers to complete reports and production records. * Able to work independently as well as part of a team. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
