We are looking of a Senior Civil Engineer who will have experience in undertaking aspects of design and coordination of civil engineering projects.

We are currently managing several data centre projects in a range of locations in the UK and Europe.

These projects are highly challenging, involving full 3D coordination of buried infrastructure bespoke to each project we undertake.You’ll be joining a team who provide a comprehensive range of civil engineering design, procurement, coordination, and project management services to support clients through the whole project life cycle.

Manage and co-ordinate highways and drainage designs relating to large development infrastructure projectsProduce Flood Risk Assessments (FRA’s), Drainage Strategies, Nutrient Mitigation and other Pre-Planning adviceProvide day-to-day client interface, conducting site visits for technical assessment or problem-solvingWhat you need to succeedIdeally professionally qualified as a chartered engineer (CEng) or keen to become charteredBe a member of (or an aspiration to become a member of) the Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.) or equivalent relevant professional bodyGood working knowledge of AutoCAD and in particular Civil 3DAs a competent user of Infodrainage & have solid understanding of drainage design, SUDS, highways, cut and fill analysisDesign experience with proven post-graduation experience that will be discussed at interviewExperience in drainage (foul and surface) and minor roadway designA good understanding of section 38, 278 (Highways Act) and section 104, 106 and 185 (Water industry Act) agreementsExperience with designing a wide range of projects from conception through to completion (including calculations, drawings and specifications)Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and its application within civil engineeringInternational experience or experience on similar projects is beneficial but not essential.
