This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering engaging events, and working closely with local communities to generate income and support.

Job Title: Events and Community Fundraiser
Salary: £34,500 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire (office-based with flexibility as required)
This role will take the lead on planning and delivering a varied programme of events, alongside supporting and growing a network of community fundraisers. You will play a key part in creating positive supporter experiences, helping to raise both income and awareness through meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a portfolio of community and corporate events, ensuring they are well organised and professionally executed
- Manage event logistics including venues, suppliers, communications, and supporter journeys
- Support the delivery of third-party challenge events and steward participants throughout their fundraising
- Build and maintain relationships with community groups, schools, local organisations, and corporate supporters
- Deliver presentations and talks to engage new audiences and encourage support
- Oversee administration linked to fundraising activity, including maintaining accurate database records
- Ensure timely and thoughtful supporter stewardship, including thanking and ongoing engagement
Skills and Experience:
- Experience planning and delivering events
- Experience in a fundraising, community engagement, or similar environment
- Experience engaging with supporters, customers, or stakeholders
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
This is a varied and outward-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, is confident managing events, and is motivated by creating positive experiences that encourage ongoing support.
