Business Development Manager
About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Road & Sea Freight Manager with a strong background in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
The ideal candidate should have:
* 5–10+ years of relevant industry experience
* Strong experience in road freight, air and sea freight
* Proven track record in sales, business development, and customer acquisition
* An established network of clients and industry contacts
* Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding and logistics market
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
* Ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts
* A commercially focused and results-driven approach
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a proven ability to win new customers, generate revenue, manage key accounts, and develop long-term business relationships.
Location South East London Salary £45-55 plus commission and car allowance
