The Job… Working in SEND schools to support children with a wide range of additional needs- your role is to be an extra set of hands for the teacher! You could be helping pupils to manage their emotions, communication effectively, or to engage with the activities they are taking part in! Academics provide staff to a massive range of SEND and SEMH schools, so there are opportunities to work with children with complex needs, challenging behaviours, social emotional and mental health needs, or physical disabilities.
