We're looking for an exceptional Grill Chef to join the team at Supernova South Kensington, our bold and energetic smashed burger concept in the heart of London. As Grill Chef at Supernova South Kensington, you'll be front and centre in the kitchen, grilling up our signature smashed burgers and sides to perfection. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in speed and consistency, and loves the vibe of a fast-paced, open kitchen.
You'll work closely with the management team to uphold Supernova's high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and team spirit - and help drive the energy and flavour that make us a Soho favourite.
Maintain high levels of speed, consistency, and presentation throughout shifts
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness procedures
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth service
Support stock control, portioning, and waste reduction
Participate in food prep, cleaning, and opening/closing duties
Foster a fun, supportive, and energetic kitchen culture
At least 1 year of grill or line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen, ideally in burgers or casual dining
Passion for delivering great food fast - with consistency and care
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Able to work evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods
